William Pippin, DDS
Expertise and Experience
A native of Bristol, Tennessee, Dr. Pippin graduated from the renowned University of Tennessee (UT), Knoxville, with a major in biology, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the UT College of Dentistry in Memphis. Dr. Pippin brings with him over three decades of dental experience. After serving as an associate dentist in Knoxville, he opened his own practice in Pigeon Forge where he remained until 1999, when he moved to his present location in Sevierville.
Continuing Education and Memberships
Dr. Pippin continually exceeds the minimum continuing education requirements to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technologies being considered or used. To provide the greatest health benefit to his patients, he has completed advanced courses in implant surgery and IV sedation at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Pippin is currently a member of the American Dental Association, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Community and Professional Service
As an active member of his local church and following his belief in giving back to the community, he has donated hundreds of hours to charity clinics conducted by Remote Area Medical and Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic. He also served as president of the Sevierville Sunrise Rotary Club for two terms.
Family and Hobbies
In his leisure time, Dr. Pippin enjoys weight training, golf, travel, and live jazz, which he supports by serving on the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra Board. The father of four grown children, he resides with his wife, Laura, and their Maine Coon cat, Cookie.
